Hmm. I just noticed something. On the box that the camera came in (which is indicative of a kit containing a 12-35 mm lens - the item description mentioned body only so the seller did right there as the lens is missing from it), I see not a UPC code but an EAN code instead which looks a lot like a UPC. Thats indicative that it is indeed the PAL version as opposed to the NTSC version. I have the camera now packed up with all of my parts removed from it. Its mostly returned to the original condition in which I received it. Just some tape and twist ties are missing (tossed in the trash) and its seen some very light usage (27 photos and 0 video frames taken along with a bit of configuration). The installation disks were never used as connecting it, waiting for the driver to autoinstall, then copy paste was all I really needed, not any of the fancy stuff. GIMP handles the image editing. So, when Friday comes and I havent gotten anywhere with the return for refund process (the seller doesnt respond), Ill be filing a claim against them through Amazon. I must have the NTSC version. Not only does NTSC get a higher recording frame rate (60 fps as opposed to 50), it, most crucially to me, doesnt have that stupid 30-minute limit. Plus, most importantly, the item listing states of being 1080 60p as per the second bulleted item on the features list on the item description, which would imply the NTSC version. In short, I received the wrong item. This is exact thing I bought. You can see that the listing description is incorrect. It shouldve stated 1080 50p instead.
