Hmm... White Supremacy is patriarchal, it tries to subdue every thing in its path but, irrespective of which race of man is in control, he will try to dominate the woman and, in order to do that will abuse her in every way he can. Since it is not clear as to how much he is outstanding in terms of months and money and whether or not his circumstances has changed i.e. lost his job or, taken on more financial assistance, or whether he had violated a court order to pay... it would be very difficult for me to comment. But, whatever the circumstances, there should have been communication with the mother of the child to explain any changes. Nevertheless, if the change was extended financial commitment which involved another woman and child, then, I daresay he would have further complicated his life and that of his existing child... worse still if it was another mans child/ren. Do the Courts take into consideration the lost of a job or, if still in a job, the likely chance that a man may lose the job if he is sent to prison? Isnt this type of reporting done to put a further wedge between black men and women? NOTE: The absence of the facts that led to the imprisonment. It makes it appears as if the woman was heartless in her dealings and that the State is autocratic in its sentencing. Could this all go toward giving people especially Blacks a sense of perpetual anger toward the System [although the System is perpetuating this image of itself into our minds] and, further divisions and anger for each other between black men and women?
