Some residents of the city of Orange have been targeted by an apparent recruitment drive from a branch of the Ku Klux Klan. Be a man, join the Klan, exhorted a message on a phone number provided on the fliers. The message focused on immigration from Mexico, used a racial slur and made false claims about diseases brought to the U.S. The O.C. effort may be part of the groups recent national campaign to boost membership in the infamous white supremacist organization, a watchdog says.
