Hmmmm, am about to get some bashing with this post. Lets risk it. For the past four days, I have come to observe an acceptance of a particular phrase, sadly circulating on online social communities, i.e: Facebook, twitter, watsapp, etc, which is: boys abr3, literally translated as boys are tired (Hope I got it right). Well, arguably, there is an element of truth in that phrase considering the maturity of audience depicted in the phrase; boys. Its true, the country is hitting certain hard rocks and its true we obviously dont have any long term robust plans to solve the challenges we are facing as a nation. But hey, we are not alone in this. Great nations of today have gone through tough times almost similar to this. And in times like this, the country of-course does not need boys, it needs MEN. Cos, boys would always get tired and run away, but MEN would stand their grounds, think their way through and make things happen to put smiles on the faces of people. So, the next time you get a text or buzz like that on your social media platform, choose not to go with the bandwagon of mediocre, but join the crowd of MEN who would push till the door zaps through. A friend once told me; living is not for the weak.
