Hmmmm.....so here we go. Week 6: State is sitting at 12, after beating an anemic LSU team.They beat A@M who is at #6. They jump 9 places to number 3. Ole Miss is sitting at #11, beats #1 coaches poll Bama, who moved to #1 during a bye-week because the coaches VOTED them into first place, and Ole Miss moves up 8 places to #3 (tied.) Week 7: State beats the artificially inflated #2 Auburn, not #1. They jump Auburn and REPLACE FSU at #1. Ole Miss beats the same A&M team that state did and they remain at #3? I believe FSU is over rated as well. I think Ole Miss should have been #2, FSU at 3. Ill give State credit where credit is due. Theyve got a great team. But the Rebels are my team, and Id be lying if I said Id be happy for the state if State wins the Natl Championship. I hope that they ARE BOTH undefeated when the egg bowl rolls around, and I hope we are yelling HOTTY TODDY when it is all over!!
