Hmmmmmm. Just had a man knock on my door out of the blue asking to be let in to inspect the electrical in my basement? He sounded legit, and after I declined him coming in set up an appointment to come back next week and left me with a business card so I could check into him. It was from a company I recognize (Superior Safety Codes), but is this normal Sylvan Lake friends? He said that his company is contracted to inspect all houses in Sylvan Lake and that it is just normal procedure to show up unannounced like this. Am I wrong that this just seems weird to me to let a strange man into my house or am I just paraniod? Some sort of sales scheme? Or do I really need to let him come back and check out my wires?
