Ho! Ho! Ho! Tis the season for giving - better to give that to receive so they say. But wait - doesnt charity begin at home? My question is this: What did you gift yourself this year? (I guess thats poor English - verbalizing a noun so they taught us in English class.) Anyway, I thought I would share some of the nifty stuff I bought for myself this year. Never feel guilty about spending money on yourself. For starters, I bought a new OXO garlic press at Bed and Bath. I also acquired a new Calphalon 8 chefs knife of German steel (made in China - go figure). I had to have an immersible stick blender so I picked up a Cuisinart Smart Stick. Of course, I went to Crate and Barrel and bought a dandy Calphalon slow cooker. Had to have that. Finally, with all that cooking I do, I have to stay in shape. So I dropped by Target and picked up a 6 cm stability ball. Great device for doing ab crunches and countless other exercises.
