Hobgoblin’s Playground, Nevada, USA. Also known as Devils Fire or Little Finland, the site indeed looks like a natural wonderland. The incredibly beautiful sandstone formations are a result of millions of years of erosion, interaction of water and wind. Therefore an acute observer can discern fantastic shapes and hobgoblins. Only 2 hour drive from Las Vegas, the site attracts hikers, adventurers and photographers, who are especially mesmerized by this scenic playground. Tourists explore area on foot and discover the red sandstone formations of all shapes and sizes. The view slightly changes depending on time of the day. Therefore its elusive nature is an eternal inspiration for the photographers. Why to go there? One of the most beautiful rocky landscapes in North America. When to go there? All year round. The site is found in the desert in Nevada – one of the driest places in the USA. How to get there? Get there by car from Las Vegas and head to the Gold Butte Region.
