Hockey Night in Canada aint what she use to be. 14-15 years ago was the last time I was keen on hockey, and I was super keen, so, over the last few weeks, Ive tried watching the Saturday games, hoping I might get keen again. Hoping to a find reason to cheer on Vancouver, or anyone for that matter. But with all the rule changes, I feel like Im watching exhibition matches - like - are they playing for participation ribbons or something? ZERO intensity. Just a bunch half-assed skating around shooting from impossible angles hoping for a deflection or lucky bounce. Its really annoying to watch. And Vancouver, well, thats like watching a bunch ducks waddle through mud. Guess Ill just stick with the later rounds of the playoffs and leave the regular season to the keeners.
