Hola!!! As we approach the weekend of Chicho Frumboli and Juana Sepulveda in Atlanta, I would like to share this short film with you. You may not realize who he is, or the legendary role he has played in the history of tango during the past 20 years. You many not realize that he has already touched your life and may very well be the reason you are dancing tango today. Chicho’s innovative artistry grew from his firmly rooted traditions in tango, his country, and most certainly from the music that stirs his soul but you may not know the controversy he faced with his innovative creations and how it has shaped tango and it’s popularity as we know it. For that reason alone, I encourage you to watch this. If you are taking part in the upcoming weekend in any way, it will be very special experience to be present with this maestro and musical genius, to listen to him speak, watch his dance, and for him and Juana to share their tango with us. I love this film! Through this recorded conversation, we have the opportunity to journey inside the mind of one of the most important innovators of modern Tango, Mariano Chicho Frúmboli.
