Hola amigos, yesterday was the first day of a new 5 week session for English classes. I have a small but dedicated following of students who are eager to learn more English to facilitate their work, since the majority work with tourism. One student visited his family in Oaxaca for a few weeks during low season and told me that his mom wanted him to stay there. He told me (with tears in his eyes) that the primary reason he returned was for my English classes. He is making a big sacrifice, as many do here in Isla, to be away from their family to help support their family. If anyone is interested in sponsoring one of my students, please let me know. Its 750 pesos or $65 US dollars (for 3 hours a week), which can be paid in cash or via PayPal from my website ontargetlanguage.
