Hold onto your hats a rare Golden in our program!!! Introducing Mason to FCHS!! Meet Mason, the purebred Golden Retriever. Mason was born in March 2014 (11 months old) and was adopted as a puppy by a family in Wayne County. The mother in the family experienced an unexpected medical diagnosis that caused her to become wheel chair bound. Taking care of an overly active large puppy and a young toddler in this condition was no longer possible. The family wanted to ensure that Mason found a good home so they reached out to FCHS. Mason would fit best with an active family that has a yard he can get his energy out in. He loves to run and play. Mason does great with other dogs, cats, and is great with children. He is house-broken and crate-trained. He is a beautiful dog that “smiles” when he looks at you. His whole body shakes with excitement when you come home or when he knows it is play-time. Mason is UTD on shots, neutered, micro-chipped, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He knows some basic commands and is working on perfecting them. He is VERY smart and treat-motivated; therefore learning new tricks will be a breeze! Mason loves water too! Mason is a sweet boy that will make his forever family very happy! If you are interested in learning more about Mason, please email FCHSdogteam27596@gmail. You can fill out an application for adoption at fchsnc.org.
