Holden Hill Police are asking motorists and the public to keep a lookout for a 2000 silver Honda Accord, registration ZENZ88, which was stolen at knifepoint this afternoon at Dry Creek. Just after 3.30pm, a woman parked on Gum Avenue was approached by a man with a knife who threatened her and demanded she get out of the car. The victim got out and the suspect drove off with the victim’s car, travelling east on Gum Avenue. The woman was not physically injured during the incident. The car only had 1/4 tank of petrol left, raising the possibility of a petrol drive-off. The male suspect is described as Caucasian, aged in his mid-20’s, slim build, short red hair, short beard. If you see the stolen Honda please call the police assistance line on 131 444. Do not approach the vehicle or its occupants.
