Holey Artisan Bakery! (Not Rated yet) Newest addition to the ever growing food scene in Dhaka. Interestingly, this is a new bakery but its for real! Just not only on facebook. Had the opportunity to meet the baker who really guided us to the different types of breads and deserts that they have and the collection will surely please the big expat community and Bangladeshis aswell. I tried their chocolate stuffed croissant (BDT 250) and it was soft, with the right amount of chocolate in it with the right balance of bitter and sweetness to it. I also tried their cheese cake which is extremely expensive at BDT 600 and its very good but I am not sure if its worth the price. I have been told that the whole cake takes about 6 bars of philadelphia cheese and has strong cinnamon flavor as well. Will try some of their other breads before rating this place. This bakery is located in almost the same premise as Lake View Clinic. The location is just outrageously beautiful. Its not open on full swing probably but if you could get a good coffee and spend sometime by the lawn with the lake across- Ah Great! There is a very simple menu on the bread table which explains the different kinds of bread that they have and I really like that as I am not too educated on bread, so its helpful. Also, feel free to ask the prices as that is not mentioned anywhere. The best picture here is borrowed without permission from Holey facebook page as I thought my phone pics werent doing justice.
