Holey moley. What a horrible day, which did end a little better than I thought it would 3 hours ago. It began as we said goodbye to Prophet and Topper. And this evening, when I went to feed at 5, I found a section of fence down, and yes, Sancho and Diablo had gone walkabout again, for the first time in over a year. I was up hill and down dale tracking them like Daniel Boone, and came back to get my neighbor and the cart when I lost their tracks but suspected where they might have gone. In fact, found them standing by a lone horse in his pen, munching on any stray pellets they could find. Mike pushed with the cart, and I pulled them home. I think theyre exhausted, and I certainly am. Nice thing was, several people local saw them, and called me, and luckily I didnt get any of their messages since I found the donks FARRRR away from where theyd been sighted! O my achin feet.....
