Holiday tales! Arrived in cold London town, my old stomping ground, I lived here in my twenties and then was a frequent visitor with my job as a flight attendant. Havent been here for a while as the Jumbo doesnt fly here anymore. So my first journey on the A380 was exciting, but didnt see much of the aircraft, the crew were a bit territorial and I didnt want to make a nuisance of myself.. anyway it was totally brilliant as I was in business the whole way. Way to go ,,,,so London is cloudy and rainy and I still love it,, totally jetlagged but cant wait to see a show,, my favourite thing to do.. When I lived here I saved every pound just to see as many shows as possible..my favourite being John Malkovich in Burn this he was at his most explosive as an actor.. Back then I loved Europe and wanted to live here, thought Australia was backward.. but time and travel has changed that. Now I luv Australia and love its laid back style,, its home and I dont see myself living away from it for too long,,, thought I still have the travel bug and cant stay in one place for too long.. I was too busy last year doing a course and didnt travel .. so this year I have been to Cairns, Queenstown, Ayers Rock, Melbourne and now London/Paris... just to get it out of my system.. Next year who knows,,,, ?? definitely going back to Queenstown as I now have the skiing bug... So I love walking and even in this dreary weather wonder out into Picadilly , leisceser square and all the way to the national theatre on the other side of the thames,,, I miss the show that I want to see and am too jetlag to wait for the evening show... am staying at notting hill... I love walking and when I lived in Bondi recently I used to walk everyday to Bronte and back,,, loved it and miss it,,,but I pretty much love where Im living now,,,, and its become home,,, so after 2 days Im off to Paris on the Eurostar,,, another adventure I havent attemped before,.... looking forward to it...
