Holidays are usually a financial strain on everyone ;including animal shelters and humane societies. Recent abuse, neglect and abandonment issues with animals has resulted in increased vet bills for homeless animals in Buchanan County. We are asking for our friends help! We have 4,005 friends and if each friend sent us $5 that would be an amazing help to our medical fund. Of course wed appreciate a larger donation, but if its a strain on anyone, just do $1! We recently have had surgery for a dog with a large hernia, a dog who had been severely abused, needed medicines for kittens who have eye infections, and had medical treatment for our boy Rambo who had a large cut across his throat. All of these animals are now healthy and in forever homes. But it is very tough to provide medical care without money coming in. We are pleading for a donation of ANY amount to continue our amazing work at BuchananCounty Animalshelter through the Buchanan County Humane Society. Please consider making one to our Humane Society--donations are tax deductible if you will make them out to Buchanan County Humane Society and mail them to PO Box 2611 Grundy Va. 24614. Or just stick a dollar or more in an envelope and drop it in the mail. This money will be put to great use and will continue to save the helpless. Our shelter and workers do an amazing job and wed love to have our friends help us continue the work we do. One animal (and $1) at a time....we all make a difference.
