Holiness is the only Profit that accrues to God from our lives. Like a shareholder, for the investment He makes into our lives, He expects a dividend: holiness. 10 They (our fathers) disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. 14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. (Hebrews 12:10, 14 NIV) If the Church does not emphasize on holiness, then it is not profitable to God. Whilst it may collect millions from members in tithes and offerings, if the Lord does not receive such offerings because they lack holiness those who give it, then the Church is swindling money from the people with no benefit both to God or to the people. No one will see the Lord without holiness.
