Hollyoaks has confirmed a huge shake-up for the McQueen family, with a trio of cousins arriving in the village and two original members departing. As previously reported, a handful of new McQueen family members will be introduced and it has now been confirmed that Myras nieces Celine and Porsche will arrive in the village. Nurse Celine, played by Sarah George, is described as being in touch with her spiritual side and has a huge heart, but is is nobodys fool. Porsche, played by Twinnie Lee Moore, has been billed as racier than her four-wheeled namesake Mercedes, but is fiercely loyal and has a good moral compass. The two girls will be joined by their teenage sister later this year, and although casting details havent been confirmed for her at the moment, she will apparently be the brainbox of the family. It has also been revealed that newcomer Cameron Campbells brother Lachlan, played by Nick Rhys, will be a possible love interest for one of the McQueens when he arrives in the village. Along with the new castings, it has been confirmed that the McQueen family will lose two of its original members. Following the announcement that Gemma Merna will bow out of her role as Carmel, Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes, has also confirmed her plans to leave the soap. Both Carmel and Mercedes have been part of the Channel 4 show since 2006, and have been at the centre of several dramatic plots. Metcalfe recently revealed that the McQueens will soon take centre stage with one of the shows biggest ever storylines.
