Hollywood Producer Doug Curtis joins Summer of 76 Team Doug Curtis is a working producer with over 40 years of experience in the motion picture industry. His films have grossed close to a billion dollars worldwide. Born in Dodge City, Kansas, Curtis graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Theater and Film and currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Doug has produced films for major studios including New Line Cinema, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox and MTV. He has also produced numerous films for well known independent studios including Relativity Media, Avco Embassy Productions, New World Films, Trimark Pictures, Rysher Entertainment, Largo Entertainment and Incentive Filmed Entertainment. His many films include “Shoot ‘Em Up” with Clive Owen, “Cellular” with Jason Staham and Jessica Biel, “Shark Night 3D” with Katharine McPhee and Sara Paxton. Doug also produced the iconic films “Freddy vs. Jason”, “The Philadelphia Experiment” and “Philadelphia Experiment 2”.
