Hollywood Star George Clooney Marries In Venice American film actor George Clooney has married human rights lawyer Amal Alamudin in Venice, Italy. A host of fellow stars descended on the Italian city’s canals for the union between George 53, and Alamudin 36. The ceremony was celebrated at the famous Grand Canal. Clooney and his friends had sipped some champagne before gliding up the Grand Canal on Saturday evening to the luxury Aman Hotel, waving to hundreds of well wishers. Guests included Cindy Crwaford, Bill Murray, Matt Damon and U2 singer Bono. George Clooney was previously married to Talia Balsam, who he divorced in 1993. Clooney, one of the world’s most recognized actors has two Oscars to his name. Other than his film work, he has embraced human rights causes such as the Darfur crisis in Sudan.
