Hollywood’s Morning Report: Today is SHOUT OUT day! Mr Charlie James: A young man who I was able to meet when he was a young instructor at the 331st when they moved me back home. My Pops taught me when he was a 1st Sgt in the Air Force that your number one job as an NCO is to watch out for Airmen lower ranking than you. When I met this young man he was going through a rough time and I was able to help him out. He just graduated from Barber school and is about to go on and do great things with his life. Patrick “One Knee” Alberts: I would tell stories about this young man but I know if I do he would retaliate and tell stories about me…..So I ain’t saying POOP! But as MTI’s we met and laughed many a times about either him or I and the fun we had with our flights. He just retired from the Air Force in Wyoming and was nice enough to stop in Colorado on his way to San Antonio to pick my ’86 GSXR 750 up for me from Pop’s house. One of the things about MTI’s and people in the Military that others will never be able to feel is the brother/sisterhood that we all have for one another and help each other out anytime we can. Congrats on the retirement, welcome back to San Antonio and the golf tournament on Wednesday I’m sure will be too funny! Kylie Cerasano: First time I met this young lady she was about waist high, big ol chubby cheeks and a smile that made you smile too. Her parents Jeff and Tammy (two of the Horsemen) had just arrived to San Antonio, moved in right next store and Jeff was about to go to MTI school. She just got married, sorry I couldn’t make it due to work, but I know Jeff and Tammy are REALLY glad to get her out of the house! Brahahahahahaaa! Congrats little one, hope you and your new husband have a life full of love just like your parents. Monica “Fig” Figueroa: Cancer survivor, good friend, retired MTI. First time we actually talked, she was late (along with the rest of the squadron) my first weekend as Section Sup and I had to tell her to Shut the F up! LMBO! She just killed a job interview and is hopefully about to knock out the 2nd one tomorrow. Just remember that God has a plan for you girl. As a cancer survivor, that alone tells you he has some great things lined up for you. Good luck on it and I still hope we both get information and hired for the Golden job coming up. Jai Allyson Rogers: My sista! You have stepped up your game, graduated Dean’s List from your school and now in your first week in your new job. Can’t tell you how proud of you I am that you have overcome so much adversity in your life to get to where you are now. Even though you and your twin know that I am the favorite child of our parents you two keep on trying! Congrats on the new job and I love you! And Ms Erika Huerta-Ramirez: You keep that house spotless, food in my stomach, yourself in shape, beautiful, take care of the kids and still continue to pull A’s in your college courses! All the while dealing with my hard headed, smart mouth, picky, hungry, sometimes grumpy butt! You are one hell of a woman and my best friend. Won’t be long before you graduate, start working and then I get to stay home! Can’t tell you how proud I am of you for overcoming all the adversity that you have faced in your life to get to where you are with your schooling. I will always put your needs in front of mine. Love you Bonita. I leave you today with this: Next week is the MTIA (Military Training Instructor Association) convention. A whole week of stories, laughing, eating, drinking, celebrating and just good ol camaraderie of those of us who have taken civilians and turned them into Airmen. It will be GREAT to see so many of you again and trade stories. Enjoy the rest of your week folks! May God continue to bless and watch over all of you! MUCH LOVE! NOW DANCE!
