Holy Spirit, take control of me! Holy Spirit, Spirit of God and my Paraclete dwelling in me, lead my path towards God’s will for my life. Empower me to walk that path. Be with me when I cross hurdles. If I stumble and fall, lift me up and set me back on the track. Convict me when I go wrong. When I am let down, console me and encourage me. When I see no good coming out of my efforts, teach me endurance, fortitude and perseverance. Use me to proclaim God’s message with boldness.
