Holy is the land that has been walked over by great sages , and to be in the same place consecrated by their sacred feet is doubly sacred . Saibaba during his life time in Shirdi Village , worked miracles to help devotees.One such time when it was decided to celebrate RAMNAVAMI at Shirdi for the first time , as people came in large numbers to celebrate the festival , it became difficult to source vast quantity of water to cater to the participating devotees , as there were only two wells in the village and water in one among them was brackish (unusable).This problem was solved by Saibaba but how? He threw some flowers in to the well and the water became sweet and fit for use! That is the well in pic 1 A beautiful garden is built around this area , where baba took his walks and a lamp burns uninteruppted under a tree lit by baba, known as Nanda Deep.There are fountains of water created and a huge artifact of Garud (eagle ) graces this place .Baba willing be in that holy land soon and be blessed.
