Holy smokes! I spent last week traveling with Warped Tour with some of the most AMAZING people I have ever met and Im so happy to call them my family. We distributed about 50,000 leaflets, which according to our calculations is about 25,000 chickens saved from the confined cruelty of factory farms. My top five moments were, in no particular order: 1) Being mistaken for Courage My Loves lead singer, at least three times, every tour date. 2) The guitarist from Motionless in White giving me the yeah-we-know-each-other nod 3) Taylor Warren Fords freestyle rap. Seriously. Hes incredible. 4) Watching a meet the parents moment when a teenage mall-goth introduced her father to her clearly over 18 year old boyfriend who was on tour. Im still not sure what happened but its pretty clear they will not be seeing each other anytime soon. 5) spending time with Kate St John Aaron Ross Emily Shotglassman Taylor, Jose Elias Chelsea Anne Collins Lesley Parker-Rollins Sacha Sweet the Peta2 people, Andy Tabar Renèe Michelle and all the volunteers who met up with us throughout the tour. Living in a car with eight people is not so easy but I have an even deeper love and admiration for each and every one of you. Now time to get acclaimated to wearing shirts/non crop tops and not walking around chugging Dayquil from the bottle. I learned pretty quickly this morning that such practices are generally frowned upon in Boston.
