Holy smokes, friends, I have huge news--and I am about to gush (sorry but whatever i deal w/ yr gushes) but this is pretty much the best thing that has happened to me in years: I WILL BE WRITER-IN-RESIDENCE AT BARD COLLEGE FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS! As many know Ive been searching for a proper writing/teaching home for years (I have been the runner-up for teaching jobs for five years now, never getting them at the final moment) but Bard has always been a dream fit in my mind. I cant think of a program Id want to be a part of more! What a wild joy to join a faculty that includes my idol Mary Caponegro, Anne Carson, Teju Cole, Neil Gaiman, Benjamin Hale, Robert Kelly, Bradford Morrow, Joseph ONeill, Luc Sante, and many others! I will continue to be Visiting Writer at Wesleyan but my main home through 2017 will be beautiful, radical, badass Bard!
