Home. Last series of the summer is in the books and it was a good one! A big thank you to Sharra Deniz for allowing me to work with her great crew; I cant say thanks enough and what a super bunch to work with! I may not have ended up with average awards, but my 22 year old warrior gave me 4 clean runs, including 3 personal bests in that tough arena. As I was cheering on the 100th friend, (it seemed) it occurred to me that the vibe for the entire weekend was so positive, so helpful; so.....I cant find the words except it was everything I loved about barrel racing. Jandee Smart, miss Overkill, I wear my Team Jandee shirt proudly, and I tip my cap the Mary Seevers Scott , who raised a winner. Steve Smart, playing my Happy song; Jeff Freitas for videoing; Darci Dalton Congratulations!!! and you and Sarah Rea taking photo after photo!! plus Dustin J Davis Olson laying on the ground or standing high above, getting shots! OMG, too many to mention; Joyce Nagel Jackson; Mary Jo Camera the banshee with the honest quote, Levi Sarah Clarey and Noel Carol Sweet who continue to strive for that inch by inch improvement--it WILL come; Ill stop here with a major shout out to the Run2Win Finals--what a great weekend.
