Home. When Im on the road I often documents parts of the journey on my iPhone. I document it differently than I do if Im shooting for a specific project. I tend to mostly document the mundane parts of the journey... the difficult parts. Life on the road isnt very glamorous... perhaps it is for the rich and famous, but for the like of me, its mostly work. I just sometimes get to work in some amazing and beautiful places is all. I bring a small midi keyboard with me so I can write music to match the journey. I do whatever I can to stay creative. Otherwise the business of art will take over and the love gets left behind. I can write the music on my iPad using Garageband and a midi keyboard that fits in my backpack. I can shoot the video on my phone and edit in the iPhone iMovie app. There are so many tools available to us to create personal art. These videos/clips are like pages from my visual journal. This one is a clip of me landing back in San Francisco after a 3 day journey to get home. I spent over 34 hours in layover time. I was grateful to get home.
