Home again after attending the La Leche League Board of Directors meeting, held over a five day period, at the LLLI office in Schaumburg,Il . Directors from the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Greece, Canada, the Dominican Republic and the United States brought with them a dazzling range of talents along with the commitment to put in the hours needed to take care of everything on a long and complicated agenda. Lydia de Raad, Board co-chair along with Linda Anderson, came directly from a ceremony in the Netherlands where she was decorated in the “knight” rank by the King of the Netherlands! Imagine, our own “knight” at the Board table! It was an amazing and fruitful meeting! We are so fortunate!
