Home birth, Home VBAC, what??? Yes, we are now offering home birth services to a limited number of clients in Lee County. All home birth clients must live within 30 minutes of a hospital with obstetrical services. For moms without a prior cesarean, we prefer that they have had at least one prior birth center or home birth. We have decided to offer home VBAC services due to the existing regulations prohibiting VBAC in FL birth centers and the recent changes at local hospitals which are no longer offering VBAC. If you would like to be considered for home birth services, please give us a call to discuss your care with a midwife.
