Home for Christmas In December of 2012 my wife and I were new managers at a storage facility here in Las Vegas Nevada. We had our first auction and, when the buyers cleaned out one of the units he turned in the personal items. Among them was a box from Palm mortuary with ashes in side. B.J. as I will call him had been left without any contact that we were able to find and notify of the personal items. So I made it my quest to find where B.J. belonged. Month after month went by , I tried various methods with no luck. In late 2013 I paid a membership to ancestry and checked it monthly for anything on B.J. still no luck. I had exhausted almost all of the avenues I could think of. The last week of November I tried Ancestry again and found B.J. had been added to a family tree. I messaged the person who put in the addition to their tree and waited. December 6th 2014 while attending a birthday party I received a call from a woman who lived in Nampa Idaho. She said her Step sister had called her from California who ha been called by her daughter in another state and gave her my phone number hoping I had something to tell her about her son B.J. I let her know I had B.J. and other personal items. We had an emotional visit to say the least. On December 7, 2014 I called her back and spoke with her husband. He said they had been searching since 2009 for her sons Remains. They also have been raising B.J.s youngest son who has cystic fibrosis and is now 16 years old. He told me how close B.J. and his son were, and that every year when they ask what he wanted for Christmas, he told them he wanted his dad home for Christmas. Well B.J. is headed to Nampa Idaho this week; He will be home for Christmas. (This is the perfect time of year to watch God do what he does best, bring family closer .)
