Home from the hospital visiting Veteran #63 Brian. It was a somber ride home on the parkway seeing Brian and the motorcade that passed me for U.S. Army Captain Clayton Orun Carpenter a local soldier that sadly lost his life. Hearing the Police sirens and seeing the hearse drive past me was a sad reminder of just how much our Armed Forces sacrifice to protect our nation whether active or through the scars they come home with. May our local hero Rest In Peace!! There are so many bitter reminder of the hardships our Armed Forces and sacrifice! Seeing Veteran #63 Brian still lying in the hospital bed on a vent in critical condition was horrible. Even though he is unconscious I spoke to him and told him once again everyone is pulling through for him and I told him the the Chairman of the Veterans Advisory Council Gene Parrotta will come with me to visit him and help him get in a home, we both will! I told him to not give up and shared all the well wishes, even saying prayers over him. Hes critical, his body is failing, please pray he holds on and does not give up.
