Home made pizza crust is cooking. How to tell it is done? Timer? Nope sorry busy people, you got to use you smell and sight. Once your crust has risen for 30 minutes. Use as is for thick crust or divide in half for 2 thin crusts. We use the thin. Prep your pan with a little thin layer of olive oil. My husband made me a special dowel rod to use for rolling the dough out on the pan. Pic 1. Use your fingers to press into place and leave extra on the edge because it will shrink. Pic 2. Poke the dough all around with fork so the dough will rise and be crisp. (For all types of crust) Cook in 425° oven till the bottom is Brown and stiff like pic 3 and 4. I dont know how many minutes this takes. I flipped it over so you can see the bottom. Next is sauce and toppings and finally....
