Home, sweet, bitter sweet, home. It has been two of the most trying, painful and heart breaking two weeks of my life. With the passing of my Dad admist Bs battle with, what both sides of the mountains assume, is the Enterorhino 68. We just got in only an hour ago and I got all three kids to bed and just wandered around my (extremely messy from travelling) house and cried. Tears of mourning, tears of sheer bloody exhaustion and tears of a new future without my Dad. There will be many more tears to come, this I know but my goal now is to get B better, stronger. Bs looking more than a little rough around the edges and is still not tolerating feeds well. The goal this week is to keep him out of ACH, because three hospitals in two weeks is just a bit much. I am breathing a (albeit bitter sweet) sigh of relief to just be home where our team is. Home where everyone knows my special little man and can hold us all close. ♡♡♡
