Home sweet home. What a bittersweet feeling to be back with my wonderful wife and church family and at the same time missing the kids. I had the opportunity to assist in training seminars for 50 Pastors and approximately 15 college kids over a two week period. I really thought week one was going to kill this old man. I got to my room on a Wed night about 11pm and was scheduled to start the first session on Thursday at 10AM. We went through Sat at 7pm and I preached on Sunday. What great fun but by Monday I thought I just cant climb that hill again. Well God decided I could, so for two days I had to climb it twice. I am not sure how it happened but the hill had become much longer this trip. I tried walking up it backwards so I could pretend I was going down but that did not seem to help. Funny thing now that I am back I cant wait to climb that hill again. Another great adventure. Seeing 50 Pastors who had such a desire to learn and on the last day doing a session of role playing for witnessing was a life time experience.
