Home sweet home...am so happy to be back home, whenever i tink of my experience in camp, i feel like it was all a dream but my pictures are the evidence that it all happened...for the first time in 3 weeks im able to have my bath in a bathroom not outside in the cold, am able to eat good food (although i enjoyed maami market but there is nothing like mummys food), sleep very well to my heart content and not in the case when soldiers wil be driving you out of the hostels with buckets of water and you have not slept a wink. Camp was very fun though apart from the time when i was very ill, i met lots of people from all over Nigeria made new friends, i participated in the volley ball competiton, my platoon came 3rd, we were all crying like babies cos we really wanted to go to the finals...lol but seriously why where we crying it was just a game, we ladies sef. Then came the came the camp fire night the day every one was looking forward to(guys especially) while everyone were dancing round the huge/gigantic fire, a heavy rain started, so the long and short of the camp fire night was dat it flurped,but i trust the youths of nowaday, dey still have fun where there seems to be no fun,the rain didnt quench the fire(i was suprised) those that where not tired came out again and the fun continued. Another day i enjoyed was the day for the man-o-war drill where we have to pass through obsticle courses, dat day was so funny with girls and their attitudes when it comes to exercise...lol. My happiest day in camp was the day they announced the overall result cos every thing you do in camp is a competition...am very happy to tell you that my platoon came first overall, i was not really suprised cos we have been coming tops in most of the activities in camp...very soon ill be goin back for my primary assignment in this strange land kogi state so let me enjoy while it lasts...omo, it isnt easy o...am growing up and am liking it!
