Homecoming 2013 Ways you can get involved: Saturday Sept. 21st Waseca Marching Classic 11:30 If you would like to walk in the Waseca Marching Classic parade and hand out flyers along the way for our annual BlueJay Blast meet at 11:30 in the Grace parking lot, #87 in the line up. If your child is riding the float with Mrs. Borneke you must be walking along for your child to participate. For more information contact Becky Borneke at [email protected] The Bluejay blast raised $40,000 for our schools last year. This was possible because of all of the wonderful support we got from the community. We need parents to spread the word! Friday Sept. 27th 1:45 Come walk in the parade and support the PTO. Meet in the parking lot across from El Molino at 1:45 and bring your own bucket and candy to throw. Students grades 7-12 are welcome to walk with their parents. Change from last year: students grades K-6 cannot walk in the parade, but parents are still encouraged to walk and pass candy and flyers if they would like to! Friday Sept. 27th during the football game Crazy Hair, Face and Nail Painting during the game We need volunteers to help paint faces, nails and do crazy hair. ½ hour shifts will start at 6:30 and end at half-time. A sign up genius will go out via email or contact Brooke Halla at kennedyhalla@gmail and get signed up! If you haven’t already signed up to get emails from the PTO please do! It’s a great way to see what’s going on with your child’s school. You don’t have to volunteer to get information : )
