Homeland Security should never be a partisan issue, but the House Majority has made it one and they’re risking the safety of our nation as a result. By passing a Homeland Security funding bill poisoned with radical immigration measures that will tear apart millions of hard working families, they’ve passed a bill that won’t be signed by the President and puts funding for the Department of Homeland Security at risk. I just voted against their bill because you don’t play political games with the safety of American families. The House Majority needs to bring a bipartisan bill to the floor that puts the safety of our nation ahead of anti-immigrant extremism.
