*** Homeschooler looking for an Artist mentor *** Elijah is looking for a local mentor for his study of acrylic painting. Hes been passionately learning all he can through experimentation, reading books and from YouTube videos and and on occasion gets to visit with his favorite mentor/beloved friend Janice Kolano. She has been an incredible resource for this young artist, but unfortunately lives 3 hours away and hes chomping at the bit for more more more. He desires more depth and breadth than is typically offered in classes for children. He would like to spend at least 3 days per week in the studio with a professional artist, painting side-by-side and learning all he can. here he is with one of his most recent works plus a couple other pieces. Please let me know if you know of an excellent local artist who could help him take his work to the next level and would be interested in exploring a mentoring relationship with him. he is a passionate, serious, intelligent and very soulful young person, a lot of fun to be around.
