Homework assigned by Tracee Johnson Gluhaich: Making a Plan Making a plan when it comes to food, fitness, sleep, and self-care is important to me because it helps me stay on tack and I can reflect from my progress from week to week. Food: When it comes to food I use the Vemma Bode Trainer on my computer and on my my phone. I create my food plans for the week every Saturday (unless I am camping). It is easy to use and I like picking a variety meals throughout the week. Then every three hours I get a reminder on my phone from Chris Powell reminding me its time to eat 5 meals in 1 day, and i dont have to think twice about it, except for having the food on hand. Fitness: Next my fitness routine is going to Planet Fitness every morning Monday-Friday. I enjoy the elliptical and I do that exercise for 60 minutes. I also workout with Chris Powells Boot Camp DVD. I plan on now that fall is just around the corner I plan on doing the 30 minute circuit at the gym after or before my cardio workout. Goal 10,000 steps daily. Sleep My sleep patterns really have never been consistent because honestly I love to sleep. If you allow me to sleep, I will take you up on it. I enjoy sleeping up in the mountains camping because of the peacefulness around me. Since starting my new journey I have set myself a schedule to be up before 9:00 a.m.., weekends I treat myself to sleeping longer if necessary. I am not sure if not enough or to much sleep is good for the soul because I have heard an average person needs between 7.5-8 hours. I am sure I average about that and maybe a few extra hours if needed. When I am not feeling like myself or I dont want to ace the world around me, I find myself hiding under the covers until I can convince myself Get Out of Bed~ Start your Day~ Get Going~ and Go To The GYM!! Once I convince myself to do all that than I dont feel tired. As for sleeping for me it helps me cope when needed. Self-Care: Finally, self-care since starting this journey I have found taking time for myself, not like I should but I do squeeze in time to go to the gym Monday-Friday in the mornings for my time to reconnect with myself, think about who I am, where I am going and where I have been. I really never pamper myself except for getting a hair cut every 6 weeks. I am no glamor girl, no make-up, fussing with my hair no way, and I can be ready in less than 10 minutes.
