Hon. Adepoju declared winner of APC primary with 332 votes Honourable member representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency Hon. Sunday Adepoju won the APC primary election held yesterday at Ido local government. Hon Adepoju polled 332 votes against the incumbent state honorable representing Ido local Government Hon Wahab Oladejo who had 120 votes, Chief Taofeek Rahmon polled 71 vote while Alhaji Nasiru Shina Salam had 35 votes. The election was held under heavy security following a security report that thugs and hoodlums were mobilized to the venue. While speaking with newsmen after he was declared the winner of the election he promised to work hand in hand with other aspirants and not to disappoint the APC family. Also Hon Adepoju thank the delegates that voted for him and the leaders of APC among which are chief J.A Peluola, Chief G.O Olasegba, Baba Areyinjetu, Alh. Ajisafe, Alh. Babalola, Hon segun Adeyemo. Hon Wahab Oladejo and Chief Taofeek Rahmon who lost the election were among the first people to congratulate Hon Adepoju and they promised to campaign for him to win the general election.
