Honda is expanding a recall of drivers side air bags to all 50 states, The Associated Press reports. The National Highway Safety Administration has demanded that Japanese supplier Takata Corp. recall driver side airbags nationwide, rather than only in states with high humidity, which was the initial focus of an investigation into exploding airbags. Rick Schosteck, Hondas executive vice president for North America, told House lawmakers Wednesday that Honda will expand the regional recall it began in June, but will continue to prioritize high-humidity areas.
