Honest question here. Today, we saw a pay per view already decimated by injuries and dropped fights, loss two more. One was due to a difficult weight cut and the other can only be assumed was as well. In the past, wrestling had a major issue with extreme weight cutting, and several tragedies happen as a result; notably the death of University of Michigan wrestling standout Jeff Reese in 1997. Now the question comes full circle in MMA. Should promoters put a weight limit on how much weight a fighter can lose prior to their fight? Any fighter insight on this would be much obliged.
