Honestly, I think Ive always taken the New York City Police Department /Armed forces for granted. Of course I will say a prayer for them and stand in shock when one is killed or when they kill someone. Yes, I know about the good cop/ bad cop. Ive heard of the good deeds along with their rotten deeds. Lately we have been hearing more bad that good about police officer throughout the US. But this random shooting, the killing two officer without provocation was shocking. These officers were, husbands, fathers, sons etc. They were intrigue part of their families. They were just doing their job . Today, I took the time to listen to the funeral service for Fallen Police Officer Rafael Ramos. Pastor Bernard (CCC, Pastor) said in his prayer. It has to be a calling for these brave police officers to put on their uniform and go to work daily, not knowing if they will return to their families. These people live in danger, so we can Live in peace. Moving forward. I am going to pray fervently for all of our police officers and armed forces. Not just in NYC, but throughout the world. In fact am going to be praying for our Heads of States and all those in authority. I will also be praying, fervently, for our young people everywhere. We have to bridge the divide. We need to be able to live our lives decently and in order. We live in a law abiding society and we need to live within the bounderies. Time for the healing procesd to start. Healing in our hearts, in our homes, in our streets, in our cities in our states, healing in our country and healing throughout our world. The blessed advent of Christmas, is the perfect time to renew our hearts, minds and spirit to live in peace with our neighbors. Jesus Christ, the prince of peace, was born for this very purpose. Lets invite Him into our hearts. He alone can give us peace. As we approach the New Year, let us go forward with the gift of peace and love for all mankind. 12/27/14
