Honestly folks, I am not kidding... You REALLY do NOT want to do business with a credit processing company advertised here on FBk called GROOVV! It is a nightmare! We decided to try it for our new Outreach Center, instead of going through our local bank as we have done in the past. Well, the whole experience has turned into a nightmare! When we first received their free equipment toward the end of October, we were called and told we had to do a phone training session, which we did. During that session we were walked through a test charge for a penny. A PENNY! When our very first payment came through from them, after we opened on the 1st of November, we found that we were charged over $60 for $130 worth of credit transactions! When I called to find out what was going on, it took an hour of my time to get any answers. I was then told that if we did not have a certain dollar amount of transactions monthly, we would be charged a fee of $25. I said, well, considering we just opened on Nov 1, how could we not yet have even met your threshold for November? They replied, we show two transactions in October for 1 penny each, so we are assessing that you failed to reach the transaction limit for October. When I explained we had just opened that previous Saturday and were not open in October AT ALL, they said they could not refund the $25 fee. I also then found that they also charge a $30 fee monthly for their software. NONE OF THIS was clearly articulated anywhere in their offer that I had found on FBk. Long story short, I cancelled them immediately, after being with them less than 2 weeks. We only used their services on Saturday, Nov 1, and have not used it again since that day. I was then told there would be a $300 cancellation fee! It just keeps getting worse and worse. We have gone back to using Square (as we had ages ago used them) and are very happy. FLAT FEES of a given percentage of each transaction. No gimmicks, no games. I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE IN BUSINESS OR TRYING TO DO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND NOT TO EVEN THINK ABOUT USING GROOVV!
