Honestly, this might be the most impressive book I have ever bought. I am feeling a little over-whelmed at present. This is something, again, I have been looking for, a great monograph on Paul Cezanne, and I discovered it tucked away, hidden on a top shelf for very little money, just an hour ago, at Ken Sanders. I used the penny trick to show off its size- it is very sizable- and I have never discovered an art book like it. A few pages of text and then all plates, a full view and then a double page spread of the same and then often a third page of a detail. It is incredible. 191 pages. I honestly feel a bit shaken. The very few details tell me it was printed in Leningrad. 1975. Perfect condition. WOW. Breathe.
