Honesty comes natural to me; it is almost as easy as breathing. So when I am dishonest, I feel it like a cold, hard slap in the face and eventually I have no choice but to come clean. Perhaps honesty is a character flaw in that I tend to be honest almost to a fault. I think of all the pains of this life and those which I have experienced next to the heartbreak of love, dishonesty lingers the longest and cuts the most deeply. I am having great difficulty managing both of the aforementioned struggles…I cannot recall a time when this pain hurt so badly or the confusion in my head was so difficult to overcome. The last time I experienced this level of hurt was some 32 years ago. It took me almost six years to get over that hurt…God help me I am not sure I can manage the time anymore. God help me indeed. So why am I sharing this? Because you can read poems, witty stories, and other mindless drivel on any page in Face book…but if you want honesty; you come to my page.
