Honesty is the hardest thing for people to face when theyre trying to hide from their own fears.. Fear of the truth, fear of rejection, fear of retribution, fear of finding out just how strong they are in the face of adversity. Honesty is also a heart breaker, turns people against one another because it is easier to live in a lie than to know exactly how someone feels about the whole situation. Spending a whole life living a lie, never facing the truth, causes nothing but confusion and chaos, I know... Spending a whole life telling the truth causes you to be alone, Im learning... I heard it once or twice before said that its ok to bend the truth a bit, to not let it all out to spare the feelings of those who cannot handle being told what they already knew was to be true, to spare their feelings from being in pain... Ive been living that lie for damn near all my life, I was told the truth many times, and many times over I wanted nothing more than to hide, to run away from it. Till now... Im not scared of the truth, Im not running away from anyone or anything anymore simply because it causes me pain, to break down, or to cry uncontrollably, I choose to face it head first, because it will make me a stronger person in the end... I dont feel guilty, I feel angry when people can see the truth and run away from it... At this point, I think its going to be that time when I leave face book for a long while.. No, I wont be checking in from time to time.. I have things to write, things to say, and with the enlightenment of recent events, this makes it perfect for me...
