Honey & Romeos AKC Shih Tzu puppies are starting to play between naps. They are getting stronger & learning how to walk. They are 3 1/2 wks old now and we will be introducing soaked puppy food soon. We blend it in the blender and let them lick it off our finger. Thats how we know they are ready to begin the weaning process. Shih Tzus get their teeth later than other breeds so it takes a while before they are fully on dry food. We like our puppies to be fully weaned and eating dry food before they go to their new home.
