Honeys story comes to an end for us and a beginning for her. She - TopicsExpress

Honeys story comes to an end for us and a beginning for her. She came here in September last year, bound up with all sorts of health problems, heavily burdened by parasites and with about as bad a case of Demodectic Mange as you will find. Her skin had painfully cracked on her back and it was weeping and bleeding. She found a carer with our volunteer Aileen Young who had signed on as a carer with Armidale RSPCA so that she could take into care an animal from the shelter when the need arises. Aileen has nursed Honey all this time and now Honey is ready to spread her wings again. I received the good news in an email from Aileen today: Yesterday I took Honey to join her forever family in Bellingen. It was very hard to part with her, but I think this photo they sent me shows Honey already looking quite happy and relaxed in her new home. They are a lovely older couple, who have had kelpie crosses all their lives. Their last one dieing of old age 6 months ago. I have no doubt they will all make each other very happy. Such a good result. I would like to congratulate you Aileen on the wonderful work you have done!
